If you are located inside of a state that permits online sports betting, but are near the border of a neighboring state, it is possible to get a false failure:
• If you’re on a mobile device, ensure that Wi-Fi is on, Location Services is on, and the Bally Bet app has location permission and Precise Location on.
• If you’re on a desktop/laptop device please note, we compare the Wi-Fi networks in your area against Google's Wi-Fi database. If your computer can see any networks which are on this database, then we can use this to determine your location. You do not need to connect to these, just be able to see those available in your area.
After completing the steps above, re-try the activity that triggered the Geolocation check.
If the problem persists, you may need to wait until you are farther from the border before attempting to be located again.
