For the purposes of parlay wagers, no bet slip may contain events which are considered to be 'correlated'.
Correlated events, sometimes referred to as "connected events" or "dependent events" are those in which the result of one wager is closely tied together with the outcome of another event or wager.
For example:
Placing a baseball parlay that involved betting on the moneyline and run-line of the same game, it would be likely that the winning team would win by at least two runs and would therefore be considered 'connected' too closely.
For this same reason, we do not allow the favorite/underdog on the run-line and the over/under of the same game to be paired together, nor would you be able to wager on the first half of a football game as well as the full game final as the two wagers would be dependent on one another.
Should an event's point spread represent greater than or equal to 30% of the total, combining the favorite/underdog against the spread with the over/under of these games are also prohibited for correlating event purposes.
Don't worry, if you happen to add two events that are correlating, you will see an alert on your bet-slip to remove one before being able to proceed!
